This is my guilty little secret..
I still love you: how am I supposed to switch it off? How did you do it?
I know I’m worth better, but my heart won’t let you go that easily.
Anyway, none of it makes any difference now. Whether I love you is none of your concern anymore.
But, just between you, me, and the bedpost, I do.

There’s more to it than what you wrote. Why oversimplify things so delicate? Don’t you know the facts?

I think you have the wrong person.
It was simple: I was dumped yet again by someone who isn’t worth my time, but oh how it hurts!
