Dear Stephen,
Chances are you’ll never hear me say this in person because it just seems too awkward, but I’m writing this letter to sincerely to apologize for my actions while we were dating. I know the timing is odd but I assure you that I am not looking to rekindle the past here, but rather just let you know about the things I wish I’d said when I had the chance.
I never acknowledged this while we were dating, but I was a complete jerk at the end. I acted selfish and unthankful by getting into those unecessary arguments that made us both really mad, and I am so sorry for hurting you the way I did. I really am. Because incase you didn’t know, you were my first best guy friend and in that way, I miss you.
