When you left, you took me out of my body and filled me with your memories
I will never get her back, and to this day still trying to remove the pieces you left from my body so I have room for my new me
but getting rid of you is like trying to pick up every little piece of a shattered vase by hand
the cuts accumulating as I go on while the memory of the beautiful vase haunts me
imagining the variety of flowers it could have held, but now will never get the chance to
I don’t think that I will ever be able to remove every piece
but I’m hoping one day ill have another vase to fill with flowers and only every remembers yours when I step a small shard
acknowledging it and dusting it off as is I continue to dance around my home
one day
