Dear you
I took my engagement ring off today
It symbolises something which will now never happen, and promises which have been broken.
I expect the lighter skin will darken once the sun shines on it, and the mark will be erased
I hope that same sun will shine on me, and erase you from my thoughts, in time
Until then, I’ll be missing you.
