So today is 2 years since I broke up with you and I still ask myself, why me? When we first started dating I knew that you liked me and I did like you. You went to the extent of getting my number from my brother, texting me and saying you were another friend of mine even though I already had their number. As time went on I started to get the feeling that you were slowly drifting away. I’ll never know why, did you just loose interest or did you not like something about me and were too scared to tell me? I went back with you the second time and that was the longest we dated, wasn’t long though. The third time I don’t even want to mention. Honestly, I can say our lives when we’re not together is pretty great. I am with my boyfriend now for a year and eight months, studying at my top college and very pleased with where my life is. Though I don’t see you often, I hear you have a good job and doing great. You got your own dog, which I personally think isn’t the smartest idea, but whatever you want to do is cool. We were just not meant to be together and will benefit as separate people. I’ll miss watching you play hockey and will never forget that you’re the reason why I love it so much.
