I don’t think I loved you but I was in love with the way you made me feel. I loved how my body always felt safe with you. How the littlest of compliments would make my day and how you insisted on using  FaceTime even when I was looking messy I loved the way I felt every time I left the date I loved having hope for the future and pictured myself being with you. But then you started to control me you told me my top was too short and that you liked it better when I wore clothes that covered my body. You told me I would meet your family when the time was right and to drop you just here instead of the front of your house you kept me a dirty little secret and made me feel like I didn’t exist
