Dear Jason,
You came to my town for a conference and you contacted me out of the blue to meet. It’s been 20 years since we unsuccessfully tried to get together, yet you still have an effect on me. You were my first love and my first kiss and I never felt as strongly for another man since. We never managed to get in sync on several occasions and it still bothers me to this day. What if… You are now married with children so me being out of town was a huge blessing. As long as you are married there is no point to any of this. However, I can’t help being curious. What on earth were you thinking? What did you want?
Do me a favour and stay away as long as you remain married. We can’t be friends and I deserve a man who is available and decent.
Be well and happy,
Iris
