I told you we weren’t working out and that we should go our own way. I lied. I broke up with you because I had the thought in my head that your dad gave me. He told me that what I was doing wasn’t fair for you, but all I did was laugh. I knew you didn’t think that, but for some reason I did. I thought a girl like you shouldn’t be held back with a guy like me 2000 miles away. I just couldn’t do it anymore. I’m sorry for the way we ended. I honestly thought we were gonna still be friends and still talk at least a few times a month, but the way I treated you in the end was disgusting and I’m sorry.
