In the end I still hope it’s us. All the plans we had, the furure we talked about. The beautiful babies we said we’d have. Love always wins, it gets rocky and takes a few detours but it always wins. If it doesn’t, it’s not love worth having.
I hope you’re out there happy, I hope life is treating you right. I hope the girl you’re with knows how to love you, and I hope she knows when to show it most.
I hope she knows when to be your backbone and when to encourage your growth. But most of all I hope that you’re happy with her, really genuinely happy and that when you look at her you see your future, your peace, your everything.. I hope she loves you better than I did.. and without hesitation. Lord knows I’d do it better if I could.
