To the girl I once knew many years ago,

The dark blue sedan stopped at the light. When it turned green and the sedan headed down the street. It was then I climbed into my truck and it finally hit me, I was never gonna see you again. The tears I swore I would never cry again started to fall and my heart started screaming again like it did a couple of nights before.

There were a few things I should have said before you left, at least you would have known. That time has passed, and now I cannot change what has happened.

Wherever you are now I hope you are happy and healthy! I never wanted anything but the best for you, even if it did not include me.
