Dear Gibbons,
You made things clear today, and have been making things clear.  All I can do is step away and hope you come back or we forget each other.  There is nothing I can do to make up for what I did to you in the past.  Even though I wish I could make things right between us.  It’s not my place to ask for another chance.  Everything you said was true, and I’m grateful you have a better life.  You deserve the world, happiness, and all the love that could ever be given.  

I swear, if you ever come back, I will cherish you each day.  We will go to the park, eat bifanas, watch a movie, and I will always keep you warm at night.  I swear I will never raise my voice, insult you, or make you feel disrespected ever again.  There is no apology I could give for the way I abused you.  I will forever feel sorry and regret the things I’ve done.  For what it is worth, I’m sorry and I hope you live a good life without me.  

I will always be yours and if you want to start again, things will be different.
