When you remember me

When you remember me

When you remember me

LTME-postWhen you remember me, I want you to miss me.

When you remember me, I want it to hurt so bad that it feels like a punch to the gut and that
the air has escaped from your lungs, leaving you with no words left in your mouth.

When you remember me, I want you to remember how completely I loved you.
I want you to remember how I gave my whole heart to you.
I want you to remember how I loved you far past my fullest capacity to the point where
it broke me.
I want you to remember the countless things I did for you, not because you asked, but because I loved you.

When you remember me, I want you remember the times that I desperately reached out to you
for help.
I want you to remember the times I cried to you about how unhappy I was in our
relationship.
I want you to remember the marks I left on my body because I felt so alone and so empty.
I want you to remember how you would frequently say that you would become the man that you always wanted to be, but nothing ever changed.

When you remember me, I want you to remember the promises that you made me.
I want you to remember the promises of forever.
I want you to remember how you told me you loved me more than anything else in the
world.
I want you to remember the plans we made to intertwine our lives together.

When you remember me, I want you to feel guilty and full of regret.
I want you to remember the way you treated me and feel shame.
I want you to remember me when other people ask what happened, and look down
at your feet in remorse.

When you remember me, I want you to miss me.

When you remember me and you realize you fucked up, it will be too late
because I don’t miss you.
